Exciting news about the future of Peaky Blinders was revealed by writer Steven Knight on 4th May 2018 speaking at the Birmingham Press Club.

After revealing that he has already written Episode 1, 2 and 3 of Series 5, he announced that far from finishing with Series 5, Peaky Blinders would definitely run for a 6th Series and probably a 7th Series too! He confirmed that Cillian Murphy and all the main cast members had been approached and were willing to continue in their roles.

Peaky Street Art in Rennes, France

As well as being a world-wide hit, Peaky Blinders has inspired some fantastic public art around the globe. Springing up overnight, these heartfelt public tributes are more moving than any endorsements by celebrity fans. 

Of course it is not altogether surprising that Peaky street art has sprung up in Birmingham, UK where the show is based. At least 2 murals have sprung up there - one of Tommy in St Paul's Square in the Jewellery Quarter and another in Dale End next to the Peaky Blinders Pub which features the gang as well as Tommy.

Filming in the Liverpool area continued today with both Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy) and Alfie Solomons (Tom Hardy) filming on Formby Beach. On a beautiful sunny day, locals out for a stroll or walking their dogs plus a few guided there by social media, were treated to an acting masterclass by 2 of the finest actors of their generation.
